I have used Sharon Harvey at Seafield Mortgages since my first property purchase in 2003. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, an existing homeowner, looking to re-mortgage, or a property investor, Sharon will go out of her way to find the right mortgage deal for you and save you £100’s each month. In a market where it has become increasingly difficult to borrow, knowing which lender and deal are right for you can be daunting. Sharon is well qualified, clear, practical, highly knowledgeable and able to deal with both the most simple and complex situations. Sharon goes the extra mile with her dedication and impeccable customer service.
Accessible for All provides regular football, dance, music, drama and skating sessions for disabled children of all abilities. These run throughout the year with additional opportunities like Disco’s, wheelchair accessible boat trips, and craft days. We really have something for everyone!
In addition, The DCF fund several support groups for children with special educational needs where parents and children can get together socially and support each other. These groups help in many ways including supporting those families struggling to come to terms with a diagnosis and providing safe and accessible play for young disabled children.

What Dorset Children's Foundation do
The DCF also have a variety of special needs equipment that can be loaned out to families, and in some cases, we provide funding for vital equipment.
The DCF understand that families with disabled children can often feel isolated and alone. Being a parent of a child with additional and sometimes complex medical needs can put a strain on the families we support, with many parents struggling with depression, anxiety and PTSD. We can offer one-to-one counselling sessions and have a dedicated Mental Health Advisor to support our families.
Who Dorset Children's Foundation work with
The DCF also work alongside ‘Give Kids the World’, an amazing holiday resort in Florida for children with life-limiting conditions. Every year we grant at least one family the opportunity to visit and create special memories that will last longer than a lifetime.
At The DCF, we are absolutely passionate about educating people about disability and showing the world how amazing our children are. We support two disability awareness workshops called Paddy’s Purpose and Awesome Archie, which have reached over 3000 local primary school children. By receiving these interactive workshops, it is hoped that these children will grow up with a better understanding and be the driving force towards a more inclusive society.
Our charity shops in Bournemouth cover our modest overheads so that every single penny donated goes directly to the children.
